The fact that the United States has not fully legalized gay marriage yet is a travesty. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are a free country based on freedom and acceptance, but the fact of the matter is we are excluding a group of people that has done nothing to deserve it. People against gay marriage argue that it is against their religion, but whatever happened to the seperation of church and state. The United States is desperatly lacking in this part of civil rights. When countries like Cananda, UK, and Australia have already legalized this issue, it's about time the United States did.
