It is time that the rights of LGBT Americans are given their due course. It is time that we were allowed to get married if we so choose. The Constitution provides that the government will not support any specific religion, and yet laws banning gay marriage, laws that are based solely on outmoded religious beliefs are still allowed to exist. It is time that gay marriage be legalized on the Federal level so we can get married in every state and territory.
