Legalize Gay Marriage in Louisiana

I would like to bring awareness to the fact that gay marriage is still outlawed in the state of Louisiana. I want to make it widely known and assist the LGBTQ community in finding equality in the state of Louisiana. The current state of this problem is that most people in Louisiana do not find it socially acceptable, it is not even allowed in most schools. Liberal, understanding, open-minded people would be behind this kind of change. A way to fix this problem would be to educate people on the topic and explain to them what it means to the LGBTQ community. Billions of people would support this petition if they knew about it, although it is a state issue.
