This is a petition to legalize gay marriage in Nevada. Although marriage is a state issue not a federal one, having this online forum will allow easier access for Nevadans and other American Citizens to sign and than use this to send to the Nevada State Senate.
Even though Nevada allows Domestic Partnership, those couples do not receive many of the benefits that married couples do. Which is in result of DOMA and many more problems that Nevada has put into place.
By signing this petition you are stating that you agree Nevada should legalize gay marriage and same sex couples should receive all the legal benefits that married couples do.
