All men are created equal but it seems that we are not all treated equal when it comes to same sex marriage. Americans are so proud of their liberties and freedoms but so many Americans are not extended that same freedom by refusing to allow them the same liberties simply because of their sexual preferences. In America, we are supposed to be treated equally regardless of race, gender, or sexual preference yet we are not entitled with the same rights.
Homosexuals are law-abiding, tax paying citizens who deserve the opportunity to be joined in a union of marriage and for that union to be recognized by law. Please take all of this into careful consideration while reviewing and remember that homosexuals are human beings with natural rights and deserve to be treated as such. Thank you.
