Love knows no limits. I find it sad that as of right now, I couldn't walk down the isle to the woman I love and say I do because some assholes think it's gross and uncalled for. What happened to equal rights? I should have the right to marry who I want just like every person in this world has rights. Marriage is (rather SHOULD be) the union between two people that LOVE each other. Not heterosexual privilege. So, slowly and erringly, we progress towards treating all beings under the sun as equal. It's difficult being a minority in a majority culture. Once the majority culture decides to recognize the minority people, in this case LGBT people, as an important and legitimate part of the society, the entire society benefits.
