The right to marriage should not be based upon the genders involved. It's discriminatory to allow heterosexuals to marry and to deny homosexual couples the same right based simply on genitalia. There is no sound reason as to why the government still has not given homosexuals the right to marry. If we are all truly equal then we should all have the same opportunities as everyone else. Some states have already legalized gay marriage, and now it's time for the federal government to do the same. We cannot change who we love, only how society treats us. So please lets finally legalize gay marriage once and for all, thus putting an end to a discriminatory and unjust law.
