Legalize genetic testing for diseases.

Created by T.H. on November 22, 2014

Genetic testing can be used to identify genes in ones DNA that would lead to diseases later in life. In the United States of america this type of testing is illegal. To legalize this testing would allow for people to gain access to information about certain diseases that could affect them later in life an help prevent such disease from hurting them. Also this would help push the field of genetics and make testing for a larger variety of diseases a reality. Along with helping the subject being tested their family, most likely their children, would benefit. Most diseases are passed on through generations and knowing of diseases in parents would help prevent health risks in future generations. By catching these risks early and stopping them future the gene would be eradicated.
