Legalize the growing of hemp which has many uses.

Hemp has been mistakenly banned in this country but contains little or none of the psychoactive substance, THC., You can buy health supplements such as hemp oil and hemp seed but you cannot grow it? Hemp as a crop has thousands of uses: food, supplements and animal feeds, fiber glass, fabrics(better than cotton), paper, soaps, cosmetics, paints, coatings. Its byproduct could be used eventually in biofuels. It has even been used in building homes. Hemp grows quickly 12-14 weeks versus 20 years for a tree to mature, uses 4 times the CO2, and 1 acre creates the same amount of cellulose fiber than 4.1 acres of trees. With deforestation and threatened water supply (fracking uses a lot of water that is then considered toxic waste) we need viable alternatives, not GMO trees.
