46 of the 50 states in the United States of America have allowed citizens to own pet hedgehogs without any issues. Therefore, there is no reason the state of Georgia is not just as capable as the other states to allow people to have hedgehogs. It does not make sense to allow breeders to sell these animals in Georgia, but restrict people from buying them if they live in the state. In conclusion, if majority of the country can handle allowing citizens to own hedgehogs, Georgia can too.
