There is no real harm with hedgehogs. Honestly, I despite all the research I have done, I cannot find any solid reason to make them illegal.
The other interesting factor to consider is it is ONLY illegal in California. This means someone could easily import their hedgehog from driving from, lets say, Colorado.
Is it really necessary to make the small, harmless creatures illegal?
