Legalize Hemp as a biofuel.

Created by D.L. on February 10, 2014

In America, we are facing many issues with pollution, nonrenewable resources, and energy. Hemp can be used for clean sustainable fuel; and is renewable.

Hemp grown for biomass won't get you high if you smoke it. There are virtually THC-free cannabis strains. In former Soviet Russia, farmers are allowed to grow hemp. Students will steal some branches but never return because it didn't get them high. There are many Americans who smoke weed that would loathe such hemp, so it is worthless as a "drug".

In 2000, we have exhausted around 80% of our petroleum reserves. In places such as Salt Lake County, Utah, they get really bad trapped air during the Winter due to pollution. Hemp takes in CO2 from the air, and releases oxygen.

So please put this into consideration.
