The cause is to end the ridiculous and costly prohibition of hemp on both state and federal levels. Hemp prohibition has caused us to wage a false war on drugs and ignore the true assault on our health, environment, and overall freedom. We need to end our unsustainable addiction to resources that are destroying our planet and our health. Yes that's right. There are more responsible alternatives to products like oil, paper (from logged trees), animal feed.
We can save $7.7billion on useless enforcement and if taxed we can raise an additional $2.4billion in new tax revenue. That's a net gain of over $10billion for the US taxpayer.ThIs isn't about big government or small government. ITS ABOUT SMART GOVERNMENT.
