With the legalization of hemp, tobacco farmers could start a new crop, clothing mills can re-open and hire, got to mention the use of hempseed in food, beauty products and an alternative fuel! How, why have we not legalized this harmless, productive plant yet? Hemp contains little to no THC, so no need to worry about kids getting high in some farmers field.
With 17 states legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes, and 2 have passed recreational use, I ask, why are we not jumping on this great opportunity?
