Legalizing drugs deemed illegal allows the government to produce these drugs and create jobs and revenue while also removing the need for all the funding to police for the war on drugs. This would lower death and crime rates associated with drug use. Also implementable would be education and dissuasion programs to teach people the dangers of using drugs and to discourage frequent users from continuing to abuse these drugs.
