A petition to legalize the importation of Haggis from Scotland into the United States. This will create more jobs, and allow those of Scottish heritage and those who enjoy eating strange food to have a good time. The current ban on imported Scottish haggis is based on an outdated law made in 1971, saying that because haggis is made up of 10 to 15 percent sheep lung it is unhealthy. This is too overreaching when applied to haggis, especially haggis made by a country which has been masterfully producing the product since before the time of our own country's existence.
I hope this shall be reviewed and looked over for possible action- A Graham hungry for Haggis
