Kinder Surprise Eggs are banned in the USA and have been for a long long time. It is one of only 2 countries with the ban. The regulation that a non food item concealed in a food item posses a chocking risk to children, does not hold up, the appeal of a Kinder egg is the toy as well as the chocolate. Recently choco treasure eggs have come on the market and their chocolate is gross, the toys are the same size the only difference is you can see a small part of the capsule holding the toy. People can be fined $2500 per egg they bring into the country. Many of our citizens have children who watch the very popular viral videos of people opening Kinder Surprise Eggs. They are not for children under three, so if used appropriately pose as much risk as any toy with small parts.
