Recently, dozens of studies have been published on the advantages of allowing lane splitting by motorcyclists. The most prominent results being increased safety for the motorcyclist and decreased congestion for all vehicles traveling the roadways. Lane splitting has been allowed in California, Europe and Asia for DECADES and recently California looks to make it law. The freedom to choose should be allowed for every Motorcyclist! We should not be limited by upset drivers in automobile's whose only reason for disliking lane splitting is that they have to take extra precaution checking blind spots and actually PAY ATTENTION in traffic! The success in California and other countries proves that lane splitting CAN be done successfully! Give motorcyclists the FREEDOM OF CHOICE!
