The practice of lane splitting saves car drivers time and money by reducing overall traffic while allowing motorcyclists to take charge of their own safety. A study was conducted on lane splitting. Three states were apart of this study, California, Texas, and Florida. In Florida and Texas motorcycle accident rates were 30% higher than California. Lane splitting is legal all around Europe and in California, it's time for the rest of the United States of America to do the same.
