Legalize, Legitimize and require all states in the union to recognize marriages regardless of their sexual assignment.

Many State laws and constitutions currently prohibit and/or marginalize same-sex marriages, despite it being a well known fact that there is no proven and legitimate non-religious reason for doing so. Therefore I petition the Obama Administration to make efforts to encourage states to continue to repeal these laws and pressure those that refuse to do so for apparent "religious" and/or "moral" reasons.
