Legalize marijuana

As a non marijuana user I petition for legalizing marijuana. Our country wastes money and resources to go after those who do choose to use it. It has been shown that it is safer than alcohol and a good pain relief as well other medical uses. By making it legal the money and resources can be used to go after other drugs that are harmful and deadly. It would also create more jobs in our country. It is also is useful for clothing, rope making, a alternative fuel source ,and much more. It would also be a taxable resource. Tax and regulate it as alcohol and tobacco are taxed. There will be less people in jail that are only three from marijuana charges, more federal and state revenue.let's stop spending millions on something safer than alcohol, start going after drugs that are harmful
