We the people of the United States desire that Marijuana should be made legal to all citizens over the age of 21 and regulated in a manner similar to alcohol. We are inclined to reclaim this alienated right as it has been stripped from us in a fashion most unbecoming of our Federal legislature. Whichever interests that may have influenced the addition of Marijuana to the list of Schedule 1 drugs under the Controlled Substances Act currently have no validity in their claims. Schedule 1 drugs are described as such:
A. The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
B. The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.
C. There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.
