Marijuana has been known for it's medicinal qualities and has been legalized for this use in several states. But why stop there? Think about how big the tobacco industry is, it's in the billions. With the legalization of this herb we could open up and entirely new potentially billion dollar industry that can be taxed and used to strength our economy not to mention heighten our GDP. I would also like to address that many new jobs would be created by it's decriminalization. Overall it seems like a win-win scenario for America. Other substances such as alcohol and certain medications are far worse for the human body and they are legal. All I ask is for this idea to be viewed objectively and not instantly shot down or up based on sheer basis.
