Marijuana is a plant and a consumable capable of being grown in the United States.
The plant has proven medicinal capabilities including
Pain relief
Neurological (brain and mind) restoring properties
and even cancer reducing properties
The legalization of this plant would keep the relationship of the plant and the consumer closer to home
And also alleviate the violence between law enforcement and consumer.
Although marijuana should not be heavily consumed while operating heavy machinery, marijuana is NOT the danger.
The use of marijuana would still be able to be regulated. Driving automobiles and performing certain sensitive task such as surgery or other direct focus oriented operations could be grounds to prohibit the use of marijuana.
