Petitions are getting thousands upon thousands of signatures, and yet our Government refuses to make marijuana legal since 1965. In the White House's response to legalization, they keep coming up with harmful excuses about marijuana that aren't even true and completely disregard all of the medical advantages it has for the people as well as the fact that there are no recorded deaths directly associated with marijuana. In fact, it helps stop glaucoma, fights cancer, etc.
So, I would like to know why our country can't just legalize it. Why is it so hard for the government to give us the privilege? Because they can't figure out a way to tax it.
Am I wrong? Of course not, but please do try to prove me otherwise. LEGALIZE MARIJUANA!
