Legalize Marijuana-ban cigarettes instead! Marijuana isn't carcinogenic-cigarettes are! Why ban the lesser evil? Go Pot!

Marijuana is just a plant. Cigarettes are manufactured and well known to be loaded with carcinogenics. Cigarettes are detrimental to the health of the user and to the general public by way of second-hand smoke. Cigarettes are far more harmful than marijuana, and it doesn't make sense to ban the use of a simple plant with KNOWN medicinal properties, over a product with KNOWN carcinogenics. It's insane that Our Government knows how dangerous cigarettes are, but still continues to allow them to be sold on our shelves. Legalize marijuana and get tax money from the marijuana sales. Ban cigarette sales in the U.S. in exchange for the legalization of marijuana- and ban companies from putting additives in the pot. Only legalize the sale of PURE pot- I wouldn't want the pot to end up like cigs.
