It has been used for many things throughout history, perhaps most notably as a form of pain relief. The legalization of marijuana will increase the amount of money that goes to the government (What if every person in the united states, instead of buying marijuana from some guy on the corner, gave their money to the U.S government?) What if, instead of becoming addicted to narcotic painkillers, a man, or woman, with chronic pain could indulge of a naturally occurring substance, and feel much better than if they were on pain pills? Also, I would like to state that marijuana is not a gateway drug, buying marijuana from drug dealers is a gateway situation. If you bought marijuana in a store, you would not even consider doing harder drugs, such as heroine, or crack. Thank you for your time.
