If marijuana were legalized and taxed it would produce positive benefits to all by having the money made by sales tax fund free health care for all and/or public education. Also by legalizing it, drug dealers would lose a market and it would be regulated by the US government. This may reduce crimes related to drug dealing, which would reduce the number of people in jail, free up the court system to handle more important issues, and save the tax payers money spend on policing and sentencing those in jail solely from marijuana charges. It's an obvious win for everyone - I support this and I DON'T even smoke marijuana.
