LEGALIZE MARIJUANA AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL.

As the MODEL in Colorado has shown, legalizing & taxing recreational use of marijuana by responsible adults, is a HUGE moneymaker for a given economy! As all of the science suggests, marijuana is NOT a dangerous substance for ADULTS. Just like alcohol, it needs to be regulated, so it could not be purchased without an I.D. And just like alcohol, it should be illegal to drive while impaired.
Regulated marijuana, sold in licensed stores, would be much safer than that sold in the streets,while concurrently taking a Big Bite of business away from drug Cartels. Another Healthy fringe benefit to this would be keeping our kids away from criminal elements;hence we eliminate exposure to the HARD DRUGS that criminals sell.Not even to mention ALL THE GOOD FOLKS whose lives are ruined by prohibition.
