It has been proven over and over that maijuana is not harmful to users. It has been proven not only by scholars and doctors, but by Nixon's administration, as well. Selling and taxing marijuana help to bring us out of debt, albeit slowly, as well as helping people with it's medicinal properties. It is much less harmful than smoking and drinking, which are both legal and lead to hundreds of thousands of deaths every year. Also, if marijuana were legalized, it would eliminate the user from being forced to purchase it from a "dealer", taking away the chance of the user trying more dangerous substances.
