Marijuana has been classified as a scheduled 1 controlled substance for years now. Why? It is safer than all of its incumbent adversaries including alcohol and no longer needs to be on this list of dangerous substances. It appears to me that the government would rather have the pharmaceutical companies create far more dangerous substances such as xanax, antidepressants, pain killers etc rather than have a natural remedy to combat anxiety, stress, sleep disorders, pain relief, seizures, glaucoma, and people with cancer.
