Statistics show that more people die from alcohol abuse than marijuana abuse. Alcohol is legal, as we all know, but what's so bad about marijuana? Considering drinking and driving is one of this nations leading causes of preventable deaths, how many people can you think of that wrecks and dies from primarily marijuana use? If you legalize marijuana it would decrease the wealth of drug cartels in Mexico. Marijuana smuggling would almost become extinct. Also with it legalized the government could regulate it, sell it as alcohol and tax it like alcohol, and probably make more off that tax than alcohol tax. That money could then go back into our economy to help build it back up to what it was. So please do yourself a favor and sign this petition.
