The medical benefits of marijuana are indisputable. From helping children with severe epilepsy to helping our returning soldiers deal with the horrors of war (PTSD). Marijuana has been shown to help those who are addicted to opioids get off these types of pain medication. It heps those with certain kinds mental illnesses cope with life and all of this without life threatening withdrawls.
There is also the benefit of much needed revenue on the state and federal level and who knows maybe the budget can be brought under control without raising taxes.
