Legalize Marijuana for medicinal and recreational use

Marijuana has been proven to not only help relax people with certain medical needs, but it is also a lot less harmful and not as addictive as alcohol or tobacco products. Marijuana is a lot more forgiving then other pain killers such as percocet or oxycontin. People can become addicted to these drugs but that is not the case with Marijuana. Legalizing marijuana would create more jobs, help our economy, and prevent taxes from being raised. If anything it would cause taxes to decrease. It would also save the local and federal law enforcement time and money from trying to stop and punish anyone possessing this plant. The legalization of marijuana would benefit everyone by saving people money, putting more tax dollars into the economy, and preventing unnecessary criminal punishment on citizens
