Legalize Marijuana Nationally for recreational use. This would create jobs, boost the economy, and pay nations debt.

Marijuana is less harmful for the people than alcohol and less addictive than cigarettes, both of which are legal in the United States.
I believe that legalization of this naturally growing herb could benefit the nation in many ways. It would create many jobs for growers, packaging and distribution, and sales to name a few. The taxes collected would provide the government with more money to pay off national debt or to overall increase the standards of living. Both of these things combined would boost the economy along with ways I'm sure I'm not seeing.
Legalization of marijuana would also decrease crimes and costs to the states associated with these crimes. This would take money out of criminals and put it in those of the Americans and into government funded programs.
