Marijuana should be legalized because of the large amount of people already using it and that it would lead to a decrease in the illegal drug trade, thus weakening drug cartels worldwide. Marijuana is actually safer than tobacco and it is impossible it overdose on it. Last year, 400 people died because of peanuts, nobody died by using marijuana. Many states have already legalized it or are in the process of legalizing it.
