Legalize Marijuana for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Insomnia

Created by A.K. on October 05, 2011

For years, Marijuana/Cannabis has been the best and most effective treatment for PTSD and other stress or sleep related disorders. Marijuana's natural effect stops or severely reduces nightmares during sleep, and eases users to sleep who have trouble doing so, as well as calming panic and flashbacks mid-day. Current medications for PTSD and insomnia are highly addictive, highly dangerous, and far less effective than marijuana, which has no lethal dosage, unlike Valium / Klonopin / Xanax / Ativan / Depakote / Prozac / Celexa, or whatever medication PTSD/ Insomniac users might be given. It's time for a medication that actually helps those who help others, and that medication is Marijuana/ Cannabis.
