Legalize Marijuana for recreational and medical use.

I am starting this petition to push for the legalization of marijuana for recreational use and medical usage. The main components of marijuana are CBD and THC. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive component and CBD (Cannabidiol) the component that reduces anxiety. Marijuana has been shown to prevent breast cancer from metastasizing. Historically, Marijuana was banned because of a campaign to remove hemp from competing with the paper business. Marijuana is far less dangerous than either alcohol or tobacco (both of which are legal), and addiction to marijuana is virtually non-existent. We are jailing thousands of people every year for the possession of a natural plant that produces a calming effect on people. The U.S. needs to LEGALIZE IT! Please sign this petition if you agree!
