First and foremost, Americans are more in favor of legalizing marijuana then criminalizing it. There are countless people in our jail systems for the use of marijuana, which if legalized would reduce over crowding in our jails. There are no recorded deaths from the use of marijuana, and it is already being used for medicinal purposes. In addition, it is also much safer than a number of legal drugs. Legalizing marijuana for recreational use would be a sensational move for America.
