This petition is so the state of Kentucky can legally regulate (Grow,sell,use, as well as tax) marijuana like alcohol. In doing so, the state of Kentucky can offer more job opportunities and take in more taxes, also saving taxpayer's dollars on a failed prohibition. It is obvious, after the overwhelming votes for Amendment 64 in Colorado and Initiative 502 in Washington, that marijuana is popular with the people and will help improve the state of Kentucky along with other states that may follow.
