Anyone who has been keeping up with the subject of marijuana legalization knows just how beneficial the sales of marijuana have been for the states of Colorado and Washington. These states have made millions of dollars from marijuana sales. Tobacco has been proven to be linked with cancer. It is legal everywhere in the U.S., but marijuana, which is given to cancer patients to help ease pain, increase appetite, and help the patient relax, is still illegal. Tobacco and alcohol have been proven to be more harmful than marijuana, yet there is no ban on either. Legalizing marijuana will also take many drug dealers off the streets. Thy won't have any customers if everyone is buying from stores legally. Let's end this prohibition and receive all the great benefits legalization has to offer.
