Legalize marijuana for personal use in Rhode Island. Not only can it generate some revenue for our state, but you WILL see a drop in crime.The war on drugs has proven to be a money pit, and companies spend a decent chunk of change to drug test employees. For what? Hard drugs like cocaine and heroin are out of your system fast. The only thing drug tests are good for picking up is marijuana, because its traces are in your body for months. Marijuana being a controlled substance is a gift for organized crime, and a fat check in the hands of every drug dealer. The fact that it is a controlled substance is asinine, and needs to be changed.
