The fine state of Illinois, the Land of Lincoln, has faced some tough times during the economy. Legalizing marijuana will not only decrease the prison population that plagues our fair state, this action will help our struggling economy if the government can legalize and regulate the sale of marijuana. Also, crime rates that haunt our cites and suburbs will go down.
