We as Americans are supposed to have freedom of choice. If we choose to smoke marijuana a plant we should be allowed too. Marijuana is no worse than cigarettes and alcohol which are both legal. Also I believe if marijuana is legalized and taxed and sold in stores it could help our struggling economy. It is impossible to overdose on marijuana and there have been no confirmed deaths from it. I ask for marijuana to be legalized in Texas for recreational use with the same restrictions that are already in place for alcohol.
