Legalize marijuana under federal law for medical use and regulated recreational use as deemed appropriate by the states

The legalization of marijuana for recreational use as deemed appropriate by the states would not only help to spur job creation for the individual states, but would also stem a nationwide system in which marijuana can be regulated using a similar tax based system to that of cigarette companies. The amount of money that can be made would substantially help spur a forward boost for the whole US economy. Legalizing marijuana would also allow states to release people from jail who were arrested on possession and paraphernalia charges and put the REAL criminals who deserve to be there in their place. No matter which way you look at this its a win-win, marijuana is the only drug that is proven to not be addictive or linked to cause any serious effects. After all, its a NATURAL GOD given plant!
