The United States government would be very smart in legalizing marijuana, it would create many jobs, provide revenue from taxes, and it would save the US billions of dollars that is spent fighting this ignorant battle! Marijuana should be regulated no different than cigarettes. It is scientifically proven that marijuana is way safer than cigarettes, but look which one is legal and which one isnt. Everyone knows it is just a matter of time before it is legalized, look at what states are doing. Washington and Colorado were the first to fully legalize it, but it is legalized for medical use in many other states. Honestly just take and consider this petition, legalization would be tremendous for this struggling economy!
