Legalize marijuana use to a similar standard as cigarettes and alcohol

Created by J.R. on March 22, 2013

Although marijuana use can be addicting, it is far less addictive than nicotine and alcohol. 10% of marijuana users become addicted, compared to 32% of tobacco users and 15% of alcohol users.

Thousands of people fall victims to drunk drivers every year. Binge drinkers die from alcohol poisoning, smokers die from lung cancer and the inability to quit smoking.

I believe it's time to give marijuana a fair chance. There has not been a single documented case of death from marijuana overdose. It aids in many illnesses, especially anxiety and depressive disorders.
