Legalize Marijuana in Wyoming

Created by C.T. on August 25, 2013

It would be extremely beneficial for the state of Wyoming to legalize the use of medical and recreational marijuana use. If alcohol is legal under the state's drug laws, then marijuana should also be legal. With the legalization of marijuana, I believe that Wyoming would stand to see a significant rise in annual tax revenue and an equally significant decline in its annual spending to regulate the use of marijuana. Legalizing it would also provide a number of healthcare opportunities. It is proven that approximately 200 recorded medical conditions respond well to marijuana use; one of which is cancer. Alcohol, tobacco and prescription drugs combined kill approximately 615,000 people per year in the U.S alone. Marijuana has killed not one person. It's time to stop criminalizing Wyoming users
