The title of this petition if obviously a joke but the point it makes if correct. Marriage has ups and downs, two males experience this, a man and a woman experience this and two women will also experience it too.
Keep religion out of politics. Not everyone shares your beliefs. If you believe that gays shouldn't be able to get married, DON'T MARRY SOMEONE OF THE SAME SEX! But it is disgraceful to think that two people who are in love can't get married because of the beliefs of a minority.
The argument can also be made that people can marry for the financial support from the government. But this can happen in both same sex and opposite sex marriage.
I impose either a blanked ban on marriage for everyone. Or for this idiotic law to be lifted and for it to be made legal for everyone.
