Legalization of Cannabis in Ohio for medical and recreational use would be a good thing as a whole for the state of Ohio. I lived in Colorado for 8 years and recently moved back here and I saw first hand the benefits of MMJ.
Not only does it help patients choose an alternative to synthetic medicine, but legalization also brought new jobs to the state. If it were legalized for recreational use it could be regulated and taxed like Alcohol which would bring more money to the state of Ohio.
Also growing Hemp for other things like paper, rope and plenty of other items could bring more jobs to the state as well.
It's time we bring an end to prohibition and let this multipurpose plant be used and help prosper Ohio and hopefully the rest of the United States of America.
